Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of items to ensure smooth warehouse operations. This position oversees union and non-union warehouse personnel, manages employee payroll, coordinates equipment maintenance, and directs material movement. Work takes place on-site during night shifts from 5:00pm to 1:30am or until the shift is complete.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 5+ years supervising employees in a large, fast-paced distribution environment
- Experience in high volume inbound receiving from domestic and import suppliers
- Prior warehouse storage configuration and utilization experience
- Sound exposure to a computer-based warehouse management system
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 1:30am
