Overview
The Warehouse Worker with CDL-A supports warehouse tasks and the delivery and acquisition of product for the Food Bank of the Albemarle. Warehouse duties include stocking, inventory count and sorting, and routine custodial functions. When driving, the employee prepares, verifies, loads, transports, and unloads pallets of perishable and non-perishable foods and other supplies. The role requires a criminal record background check and motor vehicle report prior to employment.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Valid state-issued Driver's License with previous three years safe driving history
- CDL-A or B Driver's License endorsement
- One or more years experience in retail shipping/receiving or warehouse environment
- Ability to safely operate a manual shift straight truck and manual and electric pallet jacks
- Must authorize a Criminal Record Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report prior to employment
