Overview
The Weld Supervisor leads and coordinates all production activities for the welding and grind team, including shift scheduling, training, coaching, and performance goals. The role establishes operational procedures and drives continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing principles. It reports to Plant Management on production, facility, and team concerns. Requirements
- Technical degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant welding experience
- 10+ years of prior experience managing welding and grind operations
- Excellent written and oral communication, time management, critical thinking, decision-making and organizational skills
- Analytical and computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to lead team activities, coach, resolve conflict and problem-solve
- Lean manufacturing knowledge and implementation experience preferred
