Overview
This in-person manufacturing role performs GTAW and GMAW welding on 90/10 and 70/30 copper-nickel and stainless steel pipe, tubing, sheet, and plate. Duties include fit-up, tack welding, final weld-out of filtration housings and sub-assemblies, blueprint reading, and in-process visual inspection. Requirements
- 5 or more years of professional production or fabrication welding experience
- Hands-on GTAW and GMAW experience with 90/10 and 70/30 copper-nickel alloys
- Experience fabricating stainless steel sheet, plate, pipe, and tubing
- Ability to pass a weld performance qualification test
- Ability to read engineering blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs for an 8-hour shift
