Overview

Contract Industrial Tooling is hiring a Weldment Quality Assurance Inspector in Richmond, Indiana. The inspector verifies in-process builds against drawings, performs visual and dimensional checks, accepts or rejects finished parts, documents results in Epicor, and maintains gauges and metrology equipment. The role is on the shop floor with noise, machinery, fumes, and temperature changes, and requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and close and color vision.

Requirements

• 1+ year of quality inspection experience or equivalent training
• Proficient with inspection tools such as tape measure, calipers, micrometers
• Strong blueprint and technical document reading skills
• Willingness to use protective gear such as face shield and gloves
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Ability to commute to Richmond, IN 47374
