Overview
Square 1 Construction & Development LLC, a licensed general and roofing contractor serving Polk County, is hiring a hands-on working foreman. The role leads crews and subcontractors while performing trade work such as framing, drywall, trim, stucco, and roofing repairs. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional required night work paid at a premium rate.
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or foreman role
- Broad general knowledge and practical skills covering most commercial and residential work
- Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Own hand tools; power tools are a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and work outdoors in Florida weather
