Overview
EMPACT-SPC, part of the La Frontera family, is a nonprofit providing behavioral health counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention services. The Behavior Management Specialist provides direct support with a focus on behavior management to adolescents and families in homes, schools, and the community, and facilitates groups assisting adolescents toward independent living. The role requires knowledge of behavior management and parent partnering, collaboration within the Child and Family Team process, and some evening hours. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year prior experience in an applicable or relevant setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid Arizona driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years
- Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment
