Overview

The Locomotive Mechanic inspects, repairs, and maintains locomotives according to company policies and FRA guidelines. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completed three-year Railroad Apprenticeship or four years railroad related experience or five years in another mechanical field
• Valid driver's license and insurable by company insurance provider
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL
• Ability to become a qualified Service Engineer per FRA regulations
• Must be 18 years or older
