Overview

The Hazmat Manager leads emergency response operations in the field, managing and training a 24/7 response team. Responsibilities include hiring and firing within the region, maintaining team availability, ensuring safety and equipment readiness, and managing projects safely and effectively. The position requires OSHA HAZWOPER, OSHA 30, and Confined Space certifications, which the company will provide.

Requirements

• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER, OSHA 30, and Confined Space certification (training provided)
• 3 to 5 years of emergency services experience with at least 2 in leadership preferred, not required
• Minimum of 3 years hazmat response experience preferred, not required
• Valid driver's license with low or no points
• Ability to pass DOT medical card physical
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
