Overview

First Call Environmental provides emergency response and environmental remediation services, including hazardous and non-hazardous spills, transportation incidents, marine oil spills, tank leakage, natural disaster response, and virus decontamination. The Area Manager assists the regional manager with building and maintaining a 24/7 response team, including hiring, managing, and training team members. The position is hands-on and requires field work in adverse conditions, with a focus on safety and response readiness.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with low/no points
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER, OSHA 30, and Confined Space certification (training provided)
  • 3 to 5 years of emergency services experience with at least 2 in leadership preferred, not required
  • Minimum of 3 years hazmat response experience preferred, not required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
