Overview
Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center seeks a Housing and Resource Navigator to oversee and manage housing assessment and case management services. In this role, you will help clients experiencing homelessness obtain vital documents, navigate housing applications, and connect with supportive housing programs. Work is based primarily at the South Austin Hub with local travel to community partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related field (work experience may substitute)
- Experience working with individuals or families in crisis or housing instability
- Familiarity with housing navigation or financial assistance programs
- Strong communication skills
- Current or previous HMIS experience or licensure preferred
- Comfort using databases or electronic tracking systems
