Overview

The Town of Smithfield, VA seeks an experienced HR Generalist to lead benefits and retirement administration. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• Three (3) or more years of experience in employee benefits and retirement plan administration
• Working knowledge of ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and local, state, and federal regulations
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information
• VRS or public-sector experience preferred
• PHR, SHRM-CP, PSHRA-CP or related certification preferred
