Overview

The Bergen County Division of Family Guidance provides clinical, residential, educational, correctional, case management, and monitoring services to at-risk children, adolescents, and families. This position serves as the Psychiatric Social Worker, providing psychiatric and social services for youth at a Juvenile Detention Center or Youth Shelter, as well as caregivers, community stakeholders, court liaisons, and other service providers. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required
  • Two years of experience in psychiatric social work preferred
  • Experience working with adolescents preferred
  • Bilingual English to Spanish preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Outlook and Excel
