Overview

The Conductor position controls and coordinates train movements during railcar switching operations in rail yards, industrial plants, or related facilities. Responsibilities include inspecting locomotives, operating controls, aligning switches, and securing train couplings. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Conductor certifications through the FRA (FRA 240/242)
• Valid Driver's License
• At least 1 year of job-related experience or equivalent education and experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors
