Overview
This role manages transportation operations for an aggregates, asphalt, and ready-mix concrete supplier. Duties include supervising drivers, ensuring DOT compliance, coordinating trucking resources, and conducting safety and performance reviews. The position reports to the Transportation Manager and requires daily travel with some overnights.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three or more years of related experience or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Ability to lift and move 10 to 100 lbs occasionally
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office preferred
