Overview

The Lawn and IPM Specialist is a high-autonomy role in the Grounds Management division, diagnosing turf and ornamental issues and applying fertilizers and pesticides using Integrated Pest Management principles. Duties include regulatory recordkeeping, safety leadership, seasonal projects, winter snow and ice management, and client communication. The position reports to the Production Manager and requires a valid NC driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Requirements

• Valid NC driver's license and good driving record (CDL preferred)
• Willingness to obtain NC Pesticide Applicator's License
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Experience in turf management, horticulture, or a related field
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely and work outside in all weather
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
