Overview
Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students, including screenings, evaluations, IEP/504 participation, and intervention plans. Collaborate with specialists, staff, and families to support student access to the educational environment. Maintain documentation and supervise OT assistants if applicable. Caseload and location may change based on SSEC needs.
Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapist license from the MA Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals
- Bachelor's degree or higher and completion of an occupational therapy program accredited by AOTA
- Experience with students in school settings preferred
- Mandatory participation in SSEC-sponsored Welle, CPR/First Aid, and threat assessment training
- Ability to physically manage and/or lift students
- May require personal automobile for travel between sites
