Overview

South Shore Educational Collaborative seeks a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support students under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist. Duties include screenings, intervention, AAC support, documentation, and collaboration with the school team. The position is in person for the school year and requires restraint training, CPR/First Aid certification, and physical ability to restrain and lift students.

Requirements

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license from the MA Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
• Experience with students in a school setting preferred
• Must be able and willing to physically restrain and/or lift students
• Maintain active CPR/First Aid certification
• Complete SSEC approved restraint and threat assessment trainings
