Overview
The Lead Fabricator is a working lead supporting daily fabrication and welding in a precast facility, reporting to the Plant Manager and coordinating with the Project Manager. Duties include hands-on fabrication and MIG welding, assigning daily work to Fabricators and Helpers, reading shop drawings, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- 4+ years of fabrication and welding experience in manufacturing or precast
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in MIG welding; certifications a plus
- Experience with oxy-acetylene cutting torch and standard fabrication equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
