Overview
The Lead Fabricator is a hands-on role supporting daily fabrication and welding activities within a precast facility, working under the Plant Manager and with the Project Manager. The role assigns daily work, reviews shop drawings, ensures quality and safety standards, and serves as a technical resource for Fabricators and Helpers. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- 4+ years of fabrication and welding experience in a manufacturing or precast environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in MIG welding; certifications are a plus
- Experience with oxy-acetylene cutting torch and standard fabrication equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
