Overview
This position supervises and performs multi-craft project work, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, repairs, renovations, and new construction. The Crew Chief interprets blueprints, coordinates materials and vendors, monitors budgets and schedules, and creates and closes SAP work orders. Projects are generally under $500,000, and the position is subject to 24-hour emergency call-back for emergencies, fire, and vandalism.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in Carpentry, Electrical, General Construction, Indoor Air Quality, Masonry, Plumbing and/or steam fitting, Refrigeration, Sheet Metal or Welding
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations
- Valid driver's license required
