Overview
Provide plumbing construction and maintenance for the Birck Nanotechnology Center, a specialized research facility with complex cleanroom systems. Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot piping and equipment, read blueprints, and coordinate other tradespeople. Work may involve hazardous production materials and requires strict safety and cleanroom adherence, plus rotational pager duty and 24-hour callback.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- 4 years of industrial plumbing experience
- Read and interpret blueprints and develop schematics
- Adhere to safety protocols and cleanroom procedures
- Carry a pager on a rotational basis and be available for 24-hour callback
- Exposure to hazardous production materials may occur
